Had nothing to do so
And random thoughts came to my mind
Actually thought of contradicting proverbs
Here are a few
Absence makes the heart grow fonder – I beg to differ. People will instead find new partners to satisfy their needs.
Actions speak louder than words – I don’t think so. In a debate, how do you apply action in what you say?
Advice is cheap – Dream on. If they are really cheap, why do people pay so much to consultants who gives advices?
All’s well that ends well – I doubt so. If everything end’s well, why would people still commit suicide?
An empty purse frightens away friends – No, not all friends run away. There are still people who would help
A fault confessed is half-redressed – Even no. If they are the beginning of forgiveness, why do people still condemn Osama after he confesses?
Practice makes perfect – But nobody in the world is perfect, so why practice?
Live a life without any regrets – Prove to me you can do that, cause no one in this world has no regrets
Kindness begets kindness – Yea, they will be kind to you by climbing over your head
Let bygones be bygones – Never possible. If can right, why would all those couples quarrel about past events?
Man proposes, God disposes – Prove to me god exist and he control us
Love is blind – If this is really true, why would there be people who divorce every single day and have quarrels?
Never say die – But I have said it already
Money is the root of all evil – Not possible. If someone rapes another person, how does money comes into the picture?
No news is good news – If lets say someone die, and you have no news of him, how is that good news?
Out of sight, out of mind – No ah. This does not apply on me
Revenge is sweet – If it was really sweet, why do people suffer from it?
Union is strength – If this is true, why is there still another proverb that states “ A chain is no stronger than its weakest link” ?
Wonders will never cease - If the world has end, show me what kind of other wonders will appear
